unFIX at Globant (Columbia)

🧠 During the 2022 last months, I spent some of my learning time dedicating hours to study about the unFIX Model: I read many articles, joined the free community of The unFIX Company, watched several webinars and conferences by Jurgen Appelo, and even assisted a Live online event on Agile Austria Conference and got the opportunity to ask him directly something about the pattern.

▶ January 2023 was show time! I´ve implemented in around 5 iterations with my team:
✔ Explaining the model.
✔ Delegating them authority to organize it by themselves.
✔ Finally sell them ideas about the best way to design our structure

What´s next?
🔜 I´ve already made an overview to my Delivery Director about it and he was delighted about how this organization looks like. We will meet soon with him to introduce it formally and remember Jurgen´s words when I asked him: How can I sell Managers the Unfix Model? basically, his answer was: "Be empathic with them, use their same language" 😅

I don´t know what will be the results, but let me tell you something guys: I´ve enjoyed a lot the process! it was literally like building a Lego and the most important part: our Customer Experience is the main focus, yes, it´s helping us to internally organize our interactions in main aspects such as partnership management, internal processes, and finance management but the key parts here are:

1. We are getting mainly our focus to delight our customers with our service, understanding better their needs and how we can support them.
2. A humanistic approach to operate internally the team to reduce their cognitive load, helping us, and collaborating us each other. It´s not being a fact of "multi-tasking" it´s oriented to easily "switch context" in our daily operation without losing focus on our customers and getting things done internally every single day.

Let´s see how it goes, I am not so worried about the results now because I have learned so much in the process and yes, we are trying to do things differently.
